What’s your discount be on 2019. X5
After looking around to replace my 2019 X5 that was rear-ended. I find that perhaps I will buy another one. I like the cognac leather in the 2019. I see that if I go with the 2020 you can only get coffee.
Most stock 2020 models have 19” wheels. I prefer the 20” that were on the 2019 model. What would you think a good discount would be since it’s a one year old model. 12% or more? There is one sitting that perhaps I would be interested in since it has almost all the features that my wrecked 2019 model had. |

If you look at the pricing section on this forum it appears now with all the rebates and discounts you can get 12%+. This is for the 2020 models.
Example of a post: Just picked up my 2020 xDrive40i M-Sport here in NorCal today. Dealer ordered the car per my specs. No trade-in. MSRP: $73,920 Dealer discount: 10% off MSRP BMWFS rebate: $2,000 Conquest rebate: $750 Also in the process of filing $1,000 rebate through BMWCCA.org |

So if you got 12% on a 2020 then 15% should be a reasonable figure for a 2019.
Should have applied for the BMWFS deal when I bought the car last May that was totaled. |

Make sure they don't knock up the interest rate 1 point. I've had dealers try this on me and I got You should get exactly what BMWFS is offering on their website. |

At this point I doubt there's decent 2019 lease deals. And to buy a 15% discount on the 2019 vs 12% on the 2020 means you're way better off with the 2020. Aside from the fact it's a year newer, from a depreciation standpoint, the 2020 has features enabled and production /design fixes vs the 2019. I wouldn't even consider a 2019 at this point unless the deal was stellar. Such as $5K less than the best deal (12% off msrp + rebates) on the 2020.

Discounts are regional so it will depend on your area. There are some area where around 10% is commonplace and others where 3% is. Given it is a 2019 they will probably be a little more motivated to move it.

I would buy the 2020 if they would give me 12% off. What I don’t like about the 2020 stock models in my city is if they don’t have the cognac leather. The 2020 vehicles at both dealers in my city also on 19 inch wheels.
I would prefer the vehicle to be on 20 inch wheels. Purchase would be for cash unless there was an incentive cash for financing. |

Actually is a $3000 APR credit for financing through BMWFS. I got it subtracted after the negotiated price on my M50i. Was in addition to $1250 loyalty. I am going back to dealer as there is also a $500 USAA incentive. ( am rejoining BMWCCA for the 1K rebate as well)

Here are the new 2019 X5's listed on cars.com. Calculate the discounts off msrp by taking the sell price compared the msrp shown on the listing. I'd use that as a starting point. If you have time, you might try building a 2020 online with exactly what you want, 20" wheels for instance, and submit the build to your dealer by email with a 12% discount and see what happens. I'd rather a new 2020 at 10 or 12% off just the way I want than settle for a remaining 2019 where I have to compromise on features and colors due to limited supply.
Nice to see you are looking to get back into a G05. I hope it protected you well when you were rear ended. Check out these new 2019's. If you want more selection and you want to saver money, maybe a certified pre-owned is the way to go. You can change the settings on cars.com and see what's available. Good luck! https://www.cars.com/for-sale/search...20293&zc=94520 |

Please let me know who was able to get 12%off before incentives on 2020 G05?
I am interested as I can order anywhere and take delivery at performance center!

I live down in New Orleans and am about to e-mail 2 dealers not far from me since my local doesn’t have what I’m looking for. It’s a 2020 X5 M50i. I was going to hit them with 11% but based off this I guess it doesn’t hurt to hit them with 12% off MSRP. When I was looking at the 2019 my local dealer was going to do either 10% or 10.5%. I’m going to work on these tomorrow.
