Hi all,
Does anyone knows the difference of Driving Assistance (5AS) vs Driving Assistance Professional (5AU)?
Thanks for the responses.

5AS is the standard package with the regular cruise as well as some safety systems. 5AU adds the driver assistance systems as well as some other safety systems. In my opinion, getting ZDY shouldn't even be a question, just check that box.

I have Driving Assistance Plus on my M5. My wife has "Pro" on the X5. Pro is materially better in all aspects at hands-off lane keeping at all speeds. In fact, one of the key reasons I leased my M5 is because I now they'll come out with a much improved automated driving system over the next couple of years. IMHO, Pro is a must in heavy traffic on highways. True, no kidding, hands off and relax in traffic jams. Plus is - just OK. It works well if you've got really solid lane markings, and even then it occasionally wanders for no apparent reason.
