2021 CPO X5 40i. Fair Price?
I am looking to purchase a CPO 2021 X5 40i (M-sport, Executive, DAP, Luxury Seating, 22" wheels). 39K miles. It has all the options I am looking for. Dealer was asking 54K and after negotiating their best price is 53K.
Is this a fair deal especially given the fact that it has all the options I am lookin for and with BMP CPO. Thanks

Feels a bit high to me. A quick search on Cargurus within 100 miles of your zip has many listings ranging from high $30’s to mid $40’s for a 2021 X5 Xdrive. However, if it meets your desired spec and color combo I’d offer high $40’s.

2021 with 40k miles should be high 40s or less. But EOD over paying will cost you very little over the lifetime of owning. If it’s the perfect car just go for it |

I have come across another 2021 CPO with M-sport, Executive and DAP package with 39k miles. This one has air suspension as well. Dealer is asking 49k.
How’s the air suspension in X5 as compared to adaptive M suspension? This X5 is going to be a family hauler so I don’t mind air suspension but I also don’t want to have a boat like feeling at the corners and also don’t want my kids to be nauseated.

If they're both local, go drive them both, even a standard suspension one if you can. If not local to you, see what you can compare even if they may not be the one you buy. It's very likely our descriptive opinion would be different from your first person perspective. It's personal - one person's perfectly plush or sporty could be another's nauseating.
I've driven all 3, went with air and wouldn't say it's like a boat. There is a noticeable difference between the options. |
