Creating a week 17 build post as I don't see one.

Anyone else have a week 17 build? Received vin number yesterday and scheduled for 4/23 and hoping it moves up faster.

My 2025 X6 build finally changed to "production begins". I received VIN yesterday, and now officially scheduled for 4/24/24

When did you place your order and how long you had to wait for allocation ? reason why Im asking because you are not far from me in NJ and Im in the Bronx.

I placed my on March 15 and still didn't get any info from the dealer.

X5 xDrive40i Week 17 build in 112 "Scheduled for Production". Order placed 4/9, moved from 111 to 112 the next day.

Same here, M60i Production date 4/26. Could be the day for the M60i's

My build date was in that window, but I don’t see an active recall yet. Has anyone heard anything more?

Just got my VIN and moved to status 150 today. Build week slipped to week 18 with a date of 4/30, which I'm perfectly happy with!

It seems to only be showing up for the 8 cylinder models so far like the m60i’s and full M’s. Most of the people in the thread who seem to be getting the recall message all have m60i’s, my dealer also said that it’s only currently for those models as well, I’m waiting to pick up my new car but they won’t let me take delivery until it’s resolved

Super dumb question here - is it true that the 40i is manufactured in Germany while some other models, such as M60i and 50e, are manufactured within the US?

No, that is not true. They are built in Spartanburg.

X5 40i is built in Spartanburg South Carolina? Interesting. My SA told me the 40i is built in Germany and transported by boat. He said he can even tell me which boat they are in

Just did some research and found it used to take around a month to ship from factory to the Bay area. Is it still a reasonable time that I can expect at this point?

Unfortunately CA's often don't know what they are talking about. That is still a reasonable timeframe for delivery.
