Here is my 2019 x5 40i I recently started modding, has been my daily driver for about 2 years and being 33 and blowing thousands of dollars on modding cars in my life, I said I’d be responsible and not mod this one since I have a c8 vette. Well I committed to sending the vette to Callaway so I can’t touch it as they want a stock car. At first I was just going to black the car out, but now I’m here, wheels, tires, coilovers and performance brakes are the next list of mods I plan. I still daily drive the car, putting about 600 miles a week on it.

I can also proudly say I have done every single last mod to the car. Teaching myself tint and vinyl was the most difficult part of the process.

-Color matching vinyl wrap on all x line trim
-Ceramic tint - 2% on rear, 15% on front windows and 20% windshield
-Weathertech floor liners
-Painted strut bars
-Painted reflectors
-Continental Extreme Contact tires
-HPS intake

That’s been in the works for months, I can’t vinyl wrap bc I use the rails for a ski rack and it would mess them up. I might bite the bullet and have them painted.

Ahhh, probably the only way to do it at this point. What wheels are you getting?

I want x5m take offs but have yet to find a set with tires under 5k. I might go with the BC forges 189 and put pilot sport 4s for summer.
