One week young....
After 350 miles, totally impressed with my new X5...Detailed, almost all settings completed, and everything works perfectly. Even remote 3D. No longer concerned about passing on the Cayenne. The tech on this G05 is amazing. Quiet, solid ride better than expected, and so pleased with color choice. Was planning another White, but wife preferred the Phytonic Blue. Told her too dark, too hard to keep perfectly clean. So we ordered Phytonic Blue with Ivory white interior...I'll admit a stunning combination. Wives are always (usually) right.
I would prefer the rear leather to be perfectly smooth, and the ventilated seat have greater air flow, but I'll take 99% perfect in a heartbeat.

I watched this a couple days ago and it was really good, nice job! The car looks good in that spec with the performance parts.

It is on all X5's, and it is on purpose, since the moving parts needs to have a bit of tolerance to prevent them from colliding.

Could be just the angle of the picture, but in his pic it's not tolerance. You can see where the styling has a crease and it's very obvious on the door the crease is about 1 inch higher than the rear fender. This would be very worrisome to me.

You have to send your car back as then it does not have the designed seats

Today I asked "Hey BMW, tell me a joke" to see if I would get a response. Then it opened my contact list, so according to BMW, my whole family is a joke.
I am very impressed and surprised with its capabilities. I jokingly asked it to place an order for a take-away shop we like, and it brought up a list of shops with the same name. Then it asked which one shall I call, and I was simply amazed.

I keep finding fun stuff all the time after 6 months. I learn the most just sitting in it in my garage playing with different features. I love automotive tech.
