I don't think you guys care about that but I've seen a video made by a Polish dealer showcasing new 5-series facelift and the guy showed there that the car is running 07/2020 and that it finally understands some polish language (Personal Assistant). I have not seen him testing that be he stated that the car understands what the driver says. I'm on 11/2019 and I have to switch system to English and talk english if I want to use PA.

OTA update, though, has RN in both the app and iDrive in the car.

I succeeded to set the drive mode to sport by speech. But I couldn't do it with adaptive, hybrid and battery control modes.
What is the correct command and are all drive modes supported? |

I am having this issue as well. Hopefully it will be resolved in the next update 11/2020.

You are correct. Sport displays don't work in the HUD unless it is set to "Always". I have spoken to Bmw and the service manager at my dealership; and they did confirm that BMW engineers are aware of the issue and a they are working on a fix soon. It should be coming out soon in a dealer software update.

Being in the IT industry it just blows me away how so many of these totally obvious bugs get released to the public. They knew this was a problem before they released it but decided it was an acceptable bug and when corporate says jump the Engineers say how hi? Typical BS in the technology industry and it's getting worse all the time as technology is ever changing. |
