Its summer but I have a winter wheel question.
I have a set of wheels that I used for a winter set. They are 20" 699m They are 8 inch wide.
I have ordered a new X5 M50i. Does anybody know if I can use those wheels with the M Sport brakes? Thanks! |

M50i - ET35 (9J x 20") and ET37 front/ET43 rear (9.5J front/10.5J rear x 21" and 22") 699M from X3 - ET27 (8J x 20") There's: 1. Positive scrub radius of approx 13mm with the 699M and may affect the car's handling 2. 699M is 4% smaller in diameter than a 20" 740M which is a no no 3. Offset difference by 23%, yikes. 699M is most likely going to be really close to the face of the caliper. I personally wouldn't chance or recommend it - speedo off, xDrive and handling issues
