Things I Didn't Know About Remote 3D View!

Hi everyone,

I understand that some people probably already know about the following regarding Remote 3D View, so this is information more for those who might not have!

1. When you try to engage Remote 3D View and you receive the message 'An Error Occurred,' one of the reasons may be that you've tried to execute Remote 3D View more than 3 times within 2 hours. This error message is very fleeting and only appears for a split second, but I was able to record my screen and pause and screen shot this message.

2. I did not know that you can open up single, non-3D images captured from each individual camera. This is easily missed since there isn't a specific button that says 'single images' or anything of the like. To access these individual photos, you need to tap the information at the top (the area that contains the date, time, and location of the vehicle). See below blue arrow.

The app then takes you to a screen that shows the following single images:

Here's an example of the front only image, which is MUCH more clear than the 3D view that merges all photos.

Hope that helps!

Very good. Thanks for this. I didn't know you could view the individual images.

Shame BMW just replaced their app and this feature isn't currently supported at all. Hopefully it makes it more clear when they do support it again.
