Red or Blue Brakes with Carbon Black
I'm thinking red is the way to go with Carbon Black. Thoughts?

Red definitely pops more, so if that's what you're looking for, red is the way to go. Although I'd probably choose blue, since it integrates better with carbon black and clashes less.
+1 on the comment above. Red for BSM or any white. |

I think we're outnumbered though.
I might still go for the red. I definitely understand the blue theme w/ Carbon Black and Laser Lights (and it looks great!), but for some reason, to me, the red brake calipers pick up the red tail lights and make a nice contrast (at least to my eye as the configurator shows it). I'm not at that point yet of final decisions. Still shopping dealers on price so still time to decide. It's that decision and whether to get Merino leather when there are two kids who will be riding in the car all the time.

Thanks all, especially jwtw for the pic. I decided to go with the blue. I think both options will probably look good in person.

I just did a quick look. Seems like I may need to go winter and summer tires. I haven't come across a good all-season to avoid needing to swap. Any suggestions?

I'm very adamant about how the car looks and I didn't think about anything else besides 741. Yet after doing research about limited options of tires (AS or winter) and I thought about putting winter for 740 and buying another rim sets.. didn't really sell myself into doing all that since I'm overseas. I could do it, but I don't think it'll be worth it. Everyone's taste is different and if I don't like the tire options 741/742, I don't have much options as much as 740. I've seen people who had issues with tires and I don't want to be in that situation. Hopefully you'll be able to find a pair you like, good luck |
