Apple Car Key - ready or not?
Hi all,
My 2021 X6 just hit status 150 yesterday. Anyone purchase a July build with Apple Car Key / "BMW Digital Key" support and can confirm it's working? |

They changed that text on their website tho... used to be "built from July on" to "summer 2020 and on" so it's still unclear... mine is being build this month (August) and also not 100% sure if I'm going to have it or not

It says it only works on the driver’s door. If it would also open the rear hatch then I could probably leave the real key home. I imagine this will be just a nice to have for those times when I go to the garage and forget my keys.

Took delivery of my X6 built Aug-18 on Aug-24. I've not been able to get Apple Car Key to work. Have signed out, reinstalled BMW app, restarted phone, etc. and it won't pair when I place the phone on the wireless charging pad as instructed.
Anyone actually gotten this to work? |

I don't think your car is ready for Apple CK. Sept/October build and later I think for x series. |
