Hi,
When I look at both these apps they tell me:
1. Boot is unlocked
2. update from the vehicle is 8th August (today date 10th Aug)

For:
1. I have checked and it's Boot locked
2. I've filled the car with diesel on the 9th and it's updated both apps with the correct range and fuel level
3. I've taken a remote 3D image on the 10th and that has been updated.

How are the apps updated to pick the right info for boot/doors? I've closed and restarted the apps, still the same.

The vehicle only updates to the BMW server when anything important changes. Sometimes it doesn't, or it has just sent an update and won't send a second one immediately.

No matter how much you refresh or restart the app, it will show the last update on the BMW server, and NOT the latest status of the car itself (async process when not being driven).

Best you can do is open/close a door, start the car, etc to force the car to send an update to the BMW server.

In my case, the status on the app shows 8th Aug. I refuelled on the 9th.
The status of fuel is correct but boot open status is not.

Also, remote lock / open sometimes works and other times does not.

The key is showing the correct status.

Your right in refreshing the app does not help.

Anyone else have this issue? maybe something is not in sync with my account?

Nah you're not alone!

The other day I was sitting in a restaurant waiting for my meal and decided to check the app - it said my vehicle was unlocked!! Popped outside to go check and it was perfectly locked as I had left it! lol

Also, Ive been trying the Remote 3D View for several days now - used to work, then stopped. Tried it again while out yesterday on the off chance, and suddenly it worked again.

The only thing I rely on the app for is to set my route for the navigation. Otherwise its an extra that, as I said, hit and miss!
Shame, since its so useful when it works!

Agree, it's a real shame as the potential is great. It seems the marketing is better than technology!

Had a similar issue with both apps showing the door open, so thought I would use the app to close the doors which resulted in an error message

I find the display key shows the correct status and tend to rely on that for remote info, but I don't like carrying it as it's another bulky "thing" to carry.
