Congrats on the new cars. I'm almost 2 years into mine now, with 41,000 km on it. Zero oil consumption between oil changes. It's been a great vehicle.
Sticker price on it here in Canada was about 117k. I think the only options I didn't get were the B&W stereo and night vision. I got a little over 7% off msrp, zero down, lease payment is around $1750 with about $200 a month of that being sales tax. I looked at trading for an X5M the other day. Optioned similarly it came out to about $159k. (Had B&W and carbon fiber so maybe 6k more in options) The lease payment (with 1% rate reduction) was just shy of $3300 a month, with about $600 of that being for sales tax. Ours is staggered here, under $60 k it's 12%. 60-125k is 15%. 125 k -150 is 20%, over 150k is 25%. (Something like that)It adds up! I love the X5 and X6 M's but can't stomach almost doubling the payment from the M50i. If I were paying cash I'd strongly consider it, but a $1500+ jump from what I'm paying now is too steep for the return. |
