Spartanburg has a condensed palette selection. The German factory has probably twice the options.

Took delivery of a grigio telesto X5 this week, like lt, worth the wait (ordered end of August). Is it worth $5k? I would say yes. Its nice to have something different.

Congrats. Would love to see it right next to Lime Rock Grey and Nardo Grey for comparison. I am considering all 3 colors for my next BMW.

Hey m3macster (or anyone else so inclined),

For those of us that like listening to quality sound but know very little about how to generate it, can you please elaborate on economicly transforming a standard hk system? Mine happens to be in a 440cv, but I'm sure much of the same can apply across series....

Maybe a most to least bang for the buck if you are so inclined.

The limitations of the size of your car mean you could first try to upgrade the amp (pull and replace) and your local audio shop is a good place to start for prices and recommendations on that… if that doesn't satisfy your ears, then you might want to replace certain speakers with better ones. The X5 advantage is the amount of interior space for the quantity of speakers and for the sound to be amplified and for the immersion and nuance of the sound. I've had 3 bmw convertibles and found the HK system to be enough for me.

B&W currently isn't available BMW didn't make a DCS post. Reserves supply parts are for the BMW iX if I'm not mistaken.

Initially I specc'd my F80 in Pyrite and was actually talked out of it by the dealership. I then decided on Tanzanite, then Mineral Grey and by the order lock date, I was sold on a full individual car.

Love the pyrite F80's, I've seen 2 in my time in the metal and really still love the look. Granted, I would not ever swap mine for one after seeing the true blue on it, but always had a soft spot for the BMW browns (E60 V10 6MT in Sepang Bronze is one of my GOAT cars).
