Looks like will need to make an appointment with the SC to get it looks at. That and also the creaking door trims

I have creaking door trims as well. Came across this video and ordered tapes and rubber conditioner. Will try to fix tomorrow.

See if this video will help your problems.

I have never had creaking door trims in any of cars I drove in the past 30 years. My 15 year old 2008 Passat wagon was built like a tank and never creaked in dash, trim, rear hatch, pillars, etc as my G05 does. Never thought I would have to research so much about creaks and squeaks on a BMW.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who dreads going to the dealer.

Now that the weather has gotten colder here, I've noticed some squeaking in the rear of the car. I do have an air suspension. Will setup a visit with a dealer before warranty runs out in a couple of months.

My rear suspension on my2021 45e squeaks as well. It's very noticeable at low speeds. If I press on the tailgate repeatedly while parked, I can replicate the noise - hoping the dealership won't dismiss my concern and say this is "normal."

I think this is caused by some rear control arm bushings.

The shop foreman suspects the noise is the rear air shock. Will keep you posted once they do a full diagnostic.

Dealership is replacing one air strut. I asked about the other side but no response yet. Should I push for an alignment? I know an alignment is recommended when any suspension part is worked on.

I've got the same noise in the rear squeaking. Sounds like lower control arm bushing area

Depending on a part that is being replaced, the alignment may or may not be required. You can ask if it will be performed this time.

SA said alignment is not needed but I may push for one regardless.

Update: SA called back and said an alignment was also performed.

Did the fix address the issue?

I did some troubleshooting last night on the squeaking in my car. It's coming from the rear left upper section (above the wheel well). I was able to recreate the noise by pressing down on the rear of the car with a lift gate open or just bouncing on the rear seat. Will take it in shortly. Suspecting it's a strut also.

I’m having this too. Took it to the dealer today and was determined it was the front struts. They are covered under cpo- 2020 x5 40i with air suspension at 37k miles.

Of note I also had the steering rack replaced under warranty as that was causing squeaking as well.

Sent my car to a dealer and they heard the noise at test drives with me and replicated by opening the hood and pushing it down/up as mentioned by @2019x5User. They pushed very hard coz the car is heavy. They replaced the faulty left front air struct under warranty. The noise seems gone for now. But I will keep eyes on it.

here is my video to show the noise at low speeds uneven roads or patchy park lot. The dealer's park lot is paved with bricks. I got lucked out and have technician to pick up the noise right at their parking lot. The shortest test drive they ever had.

Thank you for this video. I forwarded it to our dealership when I got the video back from them showing all they did was raise up the vehicle, look around at the various suspension items (showing no wear or damage), and check the tire threads.

I told them, this was the exact noise we were getting. Now, to see what they come up with.

Are there two different issues being described here? The video seems to reflect a 'clunk', but I have a very high pitched 'squeak' (from the front right?).

Several months I posted about my front end suspension noise, and when I took the car to the dealer they didn't hear it. Then my warranty expired in October, the noise was getting worse, so I took the car back to the dealer in November. They determined 3 of my air struts were bad. Since I was technically out of the warranty period the dealer had to get BMW's authorization to do the repair. It took two weeks but BMW came through and two of the struts were replaced...the third is now on back order. I was told it would cost $12,000 to replace all 4 struts if the warranty didn't apply! A realignment is definitely necessary after the repair. 38,000 miles on the car.

Just came back from a dealer visit. This ended up being due to the left and right lower control arm.

Both will be replaced under warranty.

I have the same issue and also fixed it by changing the lower control arm. Thank you for your info, it helps.
My car sounds the same as the video"yzhou2004" post but it's not air air-struck issue.
Also one of my friends with a BMW 430 had this issue too. It seems a common consumable parts issue.
If you are out of warranty, here are the pare lists. Hope these help people who have the same issue.

Add a data point in case others saw this post in the future.

My 2021 X5 with air suspension ran into similar issue, noise come from front suspension area at low speed on bumpy road. I took it to the dealer and they replaced both left and right air suspension structs under warranty which resolved the issue.
