ok just finished the game in campain mode.

i liked it thou it was way too short. i would have liked some city battle vs just all desert/mountain/caves terrain battle.

won't be playing it on multiplayer as i royally suck at it and don't have the time to get good.


for those considering this game BEWARE as it is just better to rent it and beat it in a few hours, do not spend the $60 on it unless you want to add it to your collection like i did or for the multiplayer.

Ok after the first couple missions, single player gets a lot better! I beat the game today and it was another disappointment because its VERY short. Multiplayer is fun and pretty easy. I am often getting 20+ kills with 5 or so deaths. Needs more maps though

I heard great things about the single player, I'll probably pick it up this weekend. I was hardcore into MW2 for about 6 months or so in multiplayer. Hopefully this won't be riddled with as many hackers.

Unfortunately being that I rented this game, I didnt get a code for "Online Pass", and didnt know you had to pay to play online. Not thrilled at all about that one.

I hated multiplayer and already sold it on eBay. Going back to BFBC2 until COD-BO comes out. Laggy servers and rampant spawn killing on small maps ruined MOH for me.

Damn, well I've only played 2 online matches and it wasn't the most fun. Still feels choppy to me. Single Player feels better as far as controls, and Im having a some fun with the campaign. I dont know why it was getting so many negative reviews, I think the campaign is pretty good so far.

I just started to notice this last 2 nights with laggy connections and the spawn killing is getting crazy. I am a bit pissed about this and it takes the fun out. I also have to say I experienced the same things often in MW2 and BFBC2. You cant win, and their seems to be no fix since xbox is based around a shared connection of sorts. If one person comes in with some bargin basement modem/router with a shity cat5 cable and slow service then it drags everyone down. I spoke in depth about this with the guy from Dell yesterday ordering my new ALienware desktop. He said this sort of issue does not happen in PC gaming since most have made sure they have serious equipment to play and you get dedicated servers with PC gaming or on PS3. i am curious to hear some people who play MOH on PS3 to see what they think.

BC2 has dedicated servers and although Im not 100% sure, EA is known for using dedicated servers, so MoH might have them too.


I played a few more matches online last night and I had fun. I think the ranking system is really odd though, how you dont have an overall rank, just a rank within each specialty. It almost makes you work 3 times as hard to "rank up".

It does make you work 3 times as hard, but the trade-off is it gives you a choice. Would you rather have 30 levels and you get a bunch of random shit you'll never use for the 15-20 of those levels because you don't like those weapons?

Or would you rather have 8-10 (dont know exactly) and make sure that each level has an unlock that you know you'll use, or at least will be for a gun you'll use.

The system has its pros and cons, IMO.

Yeah its odd, but it works. Makes sense for it to let you focus on the specialties you are good at.

Single player is quite good but too short as mentioned above. MP is a little disappointing. I think BFBC2 and MW2 is better but Black Ops will rule all!

I rented it for xbox and I love it so far. Its more realistic then COD. Online is a bit tough since you die every 3 seconds compared to COD where you can actually breath and walk around.
