@dinonz do you have an Apple Watch? Curious about the accuracy of VO2, as it's supposed to tell you your oxygen level during sleep. Mine is steady at 96%, but who knows right.

Does the 6 do that? I've never seen it, but I don't wear my watch to bed generally - it's usually on the charger.

Yes it does!
I am not sure it'll tell you straight out, look it up in Health. I use an app called AutoSleep. Paid but worth it. Wear it to sleep once and let us know please!

I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die
When I hear that whistle blowing, I hang my head and cry.

Did you see your Blood Oxygen in the Health App? It measures frequently and is shown there, even if you didn't use the AutoSleep app. This app will tell you sleep SpO2 as well.

Says 84% at 3:04. There's the summary of my sleep app. I went to bed at 10:30

Perhaps it's learning your sleep pattern?
Beware any movement to your phone by default is interpreted as being awake. If your phone is in bed, it won't work well. You can turn that off, though. I just keep the phone far away.

Interested in the respiration and SpO2. Got those? (I had a bad night lol)

If you go straight to the Health app, you'll see "Blood Oxygen", and go by hour and see if it got too low

Phone was in a charger beside the bed.

Blood oxygen says it got down to 84%. Can't see respiration.

84 is still pretty low.
I kinda feel like the app/watch is learning your pattern. Try 3 nights to see if it establishes a baseline, even if you're not fully adept at sleeping with it on. Who knows you mind end up liking too, but just try to see if it'll tell you more, even though you kinda already know by having gone to the sleep clinic.
Hope you're doing ok otherwise though, this isn't good. Feel any effects?

Last night wasn't much better - blood oxygen got down to 67%, but averaged 85%

Honestly, I feel like shit. I wake every day like I'm hungover. Headaches, dry throat, blurred vision and feel like I didn't sleep. I often fall asleep in my chair if I relax too much.

Trying to source a CPAP now, one suitable for my condition as the docs put it.

Sorry to hear Dino.
Pretty low oxygen, consistent with your diagnosis… I hope you find a CPAP that is comfortable to use and sleep. I slept 1:45 total last night, and can only imagine feeling like this all the time.

Let us know if you find a good solution, hope you find a CPAP fast to feel better.

Cheers!

I'm sick to death of all the fucking TV commercials about Medicare. Maybe I watch too much regular TV but it seems like I see them all the time.

Too many boomers coming of age.

Don't give a shit that I'm one too - I already got Medicare - enough with the damn commercials!
