Tire temps…
So wondering why the tire temps are heavy to the driver side.
Not being a nut job just curious others experience.

Do you turn to the right a lot or highway speeds bank right alot? If so normal.

Interesting I'll try that out. Shouldn't be a bad sensor I mean stranger things happen. Lol

Something near that tire ( under hood) that is hot enough to throw off the sensor?

On my car all tires are usually 1-2º C, and its been like this on all BMWs I ever had. A difference of 9º F is too much, either the sensor is not accurate or the tire is out of alignment.

I've noticed that often after I park the car and get out, I can feel a lot more heat coming from under the car on the drivers side. I bet that is heating up the tires on the left side.
My car also reads higher on the left side. |

Pay attention to the location of the sun relative to the car during your commute. If the sun is predominantly on one side it can increase the tire temps by several degrees relative to the side not receiving the sun's rays.

This one is really a head scratcher but happens to me frequently. Many time going to the ranch in far SE NM south of Carlsbad I will fight 20 to 40 and greater cross winds for hundreds of miles. Funny thing is that the slight turning into/fighting the wind will cause the temps to go up on one side. Conversely and this made me scratch my head at first my tires on the north side of the truck were 2psi lower (70 psi vs 72) than the south side of the truck. Then it dawned on me south side sun exposure with north wind blowing 25 and temps 15 degrees. Coming home the next day almost the same but 1 psi different just on the other side.

I have been paying closer attention, and yes, it seems my car does the same thing. I have the temps set to C, and I see 3-4º C difference after extensive drives. No idea what is causing this.
