Mine will intermittently ignore me when I say "Hey BMW". Then there are times it seems to forget how to comprehend words and sends me to a random menu instead of finding the store or whatever it is I'm looking for.

For CarPlay:
A Don’t have multiple phones enabled within your car. Having just one is best
B When disconnected try turning off and then on both BT & WiFi on phone and ensure it connects to your car
C Wireless CarPlay is not as bulletproof as wired which BMW doesn’t offer

Good advice it does often take a hard reset holding radio button for 45 secjnds. I can confirm after 4 attempts and two days, privacy seems to work for both hey siri and hey Bmw without touching anything..
