Silver inserts?

Quick question regarding the black grill.

I have one on order and am excited to get it. However, I just noticed that my inner grill (vents?) have silver tips. So even with the black grill, there will still be some silver showing.

How did you guys with Xline grills black it out completely?

I covered mine with vinyl - surprisingly easy once the grille is off. Advantage is no one will see them up close so even an amateur can pull off a decent job on them.

After some back and forth, I just left them alone. There are still some grey pieces so they seem to go together IMO.

The black grill is worth it. It's will be 2 years and the grill is still looking perfect.

Why would you keep the chrome on the grille while the trim is already black???
Does not make much sense to me

This is "high gloss shadow line" from the factory . It may look a bit of a shock at first but in the flesh it looks very different than the satin chrome standard M50d look
