I have a 2018 X5M and am ok with the ride. I always picked smaller rims and would elect to go with base model rims on the comp anyway. NYC roads just kill big rims.

but I do like the idea of getting the top model
Suspension setup is exactly the same for comp and non comp.
From my understanding track mode turns off all the extra technology, below is text I picked up from bmw website

“ TRACK setting. These options enhance the hallmark M driving experience according to the situation at hand. Changing the settings alters the information presented to the driver on the screens, while the safety-enhancing interventions by the driver assistance systems – such as active braking or steering inputs – are reduced to a bare minimum or deactivated altogether.”

What the comp adds is blacked out accents ie grill side vents badges etc. m performance exhaust bum in hp, I may be missing other stuff too.

There is no suspension difference between the comp and the non comp.

Isn't there more chassis bracing on comp models?

I'm not convinced this is the case...
For the M5 and M5C, it is clearly stated that the suspension is different and stiffer.

For the X5M and X5MC, they don't mention ANY change to the suspension, at all.
There is not susp difference (like m5 vs m5 comp). Its the same. Confirmed from bmw.
