PPF with drive assistance pro on G05 LCI?

Hi everyone, thinking about putting PPF on front bumper and hood. Will it affect any sensors? What should one avoid covering? Thanks!

It will have no effect covering the hood and front bumper. I wouldn't cover the radar but it may not matter if you do.

Definitely no issues but avoid the radar, it'll trigger a lot of false positives.

Thank you. Radar is in the middle of the bumper right? Everything looks black so I dont know what it is. No other sensors on side mirrors, etc? Thank you

Yes, it’s the one right smack in the middle of the front bumper opening. All the other sensors should be fine.

I just recently noticed that they put PPF on mine when they did the front bumper, no issue whatsoever

I've had the radar on my '21 M340 PPF'd for almost 3 years with zero issues. Our '23 X5 has it too....no issues at all.

That's interesting, I had put it on mine and for some reason it wasn't properly gauging distance and would get a warning that I was approaching a car when there was nothing at all in front of me. So had it taken off.

What kind of PPF did you use?
