My engine cover has had the first 2 peg, closest to the front, break off. It looks like heat got the better of the plastic. Should BMW warranty this?

Your info shows you have a 2019 so it would not have a warranty on it. If you did have an active warranty they would cover it.

The New Vehicle warranty would be expired, do you have a CPO or Extended?

I think it could be manufactured in 2019, probably towards the end and was sold in April 2020. Technically that’s when the warranty would start.

In the US 2019s would have first rolled off assembly lines in fall of 2018; the last cars manufactured would have rolled off maybe in July, possibly August 2019. Most would have sold in the next couple of months, and new vehicle warranty would have run out last fall…..

Now - extended or CPO - could still be in force….

As mentioned above the MY19's ended production in the summer of 19, July actually. I guess it is possible they had it sitting around for 9 months but very highly unlikely. If it was used as a loaner/demo vehicle the warranty would have started when it was placed into service not when they sold it.
