There is also a 1:14 scale RC model #96868 Carisma M14 Mini Cooper JCW GP

I had a funny feeling before I started looking that this was as close as you get to a JCW GP

Thanks, that’s as close as i’ve seen indeed. The first one is spot-on if i had the first gen GP (‘06 i think). Mine is a ‘13 and it would need the GP graphics scheme as well as being dark (thunder) gray. It’s weird that they decided to do the first gen but not the second

Finally finished my 1:18 San Francisco Red to Frozen Grey conversion. I am fairly happy with the results. Besides the color change, the wheels, grills, roll bars, mirrors, and interior also had to be changed.

The official MINI Dealership model line up is shite, they haven’t done a 1:43 for about 5yrs.

I doubt if they will ever do a newer GP version but never say never.

Other manufactures do make MINI models but your GP is a rare vehicle so I would say it is most unlikely that a manufacture will produce one.

It is also a nightmare searching eBay for MINI models as the Chinese sellers like to list every bloody model they sell with a description that says mini model as if we didn’t already know.

You also need to exclude the word Minichamps from your results as 50% of the results will be for Minichamps as eBay’s search engine doesn’t know the difference between the word MINI and Minichamps.

Just add –Minichamps to a search to exclude Minichamps.
