The other stuff you mentioned I don't see on the post. Plus at the cost of these cars, marketing "off-road" doesn't seem too appealing even if they are very capable off-road.
The air suspension is height adjustable. Marketing super expensive SUV's for their "off road" abilities seems to work pretty well for Range Rover.
Yeah sure because Land Rover has heritage off road. BMW does not

I saw an X5 40i M sport with 22" M Sport wheels in a private showing about a week ago. About to order. It was a hand built preproduction car so we had to be careful when sitting in it not to damage it. (I also saw the M850i)

Was it still in camo when you saw them? How are you liking what you saw from the x5 and m850i so far, aesthetically?

Edit : liking, not looking

Do recall the width of the rear tires--315 or wider??

As much as I love our new G01 X3 M40i, I know I'm going to want an MSport when it debuts. I miss the hunkered down rear and fat tires from our previous F15 and E70 MSports

I believe it was 325 but I'm not 100% sure. It could have been 315

xDrive 40d with B57TU, either in the latter half of MY2019 or MY2020 depending on how the EPA/CARB situation plays out.

That's great timing. I'm buying my F15 35d this August after the lease ends and plan to keep it till the new diesel is released.

Wow, lucky you. I’m biting at the bit to know what this looks like. Do a it look like the new X3. Have any of the mock-ups been spot on? Does it have the new funky body line that doesn’t go through the door handles?

Would love some more details? I’m hoping for a larger looking X3 with the new 5 series interior.

There's still a chance, but at intro it will only be 40i and 50i for all markets with 30d and M50d outside North America.

Exactly. At least the F85/F86 M guys will feel a little better, since it takes a couple years for the M versions to come out.

Here is something for everybody's amusement: Discussed the new X5 with my BMW dealer sales manager (!) and when to order it. He claimed the "new" X5 you are all talking about is just a facelift, not a new car. According to him, it is the old X5 with a new IDrive that will be coming to the US in the fall of 2018

Sounds like it is time to find a new dealer.
