Can I use a BMW OBD2/Ethernet Adapter for another make?
I have an OBD2/ethernet adapter that I used for some coding on my BMW. I have a non-BMW that is having a misfire issue. Does anyone know if you can use this adapter to read real time OBD2 data from other cars on a laptop? No big deal if not but this would save me $20 and I already have it!

I highly doubt that the $15 ethernet-to-OBD port cable will work on anything but a BMW.
If you have a supported Bluetooth Bimmercode dongle, that will most certainly work with smartphone OBD-II apps.....
