Bad way. Ever since I got this new job I really let myself go. I get to dress however I want so I never really noticed the weight gain till I started seeing pictures of myself.

Better you recognized it now and actually want to do something about it. It's the people that complain about how they look, but can't pull themselves on to a bicycle seat or even enough to do a handful of crunches every morning.

Keep motivated and it will come. Need to keep telling this to myself.

Yeah, I hadn't stepped on a scale in awhile. Damn near fainted when I saw the reading. I usually lose weight rather quickly. My grandfather died at 37 of a massive heart attack. I'll be 31 in March, need to get myself in line.

I ran for the first time in a couple/few weeks just this last Tuesday. Hacked out a lung and called it a night, going to the gym.

Prior to the foodfest and binge drinking we call "the holidays", Monday was aka 7 mile Monday. Today, I'll work my way back up to my threshold pace. What that means is an easy jog for distance. I'll leave the windsprints in the closet where they belong, at least for a few weeks until I can get back to threshold.

If you're serious about cardio, this is the time most people quit. Push through your natural jogging pace for a set distance and then kick it up.
