'19 x50i Exhaust mods anyone?

Looking to spice up the exhaust. But mainly only seeing M50s which mine unfortunately is not. Currently have an xDrive50i.

Would love to get it louder if possible.

Miesterschaft makes a beautiful system! It’s not cheap, but quality isn’t!

Did a resonator delete today, $115 total to cut out and weld in 3" straight pipe

Sounds louder but a higher pitched as opposed to a deeper roar. For now will keep it. If i dont like it in a few days, will revert changes or go xpipe route

I'm not too sure on your specific model, but I would open the exhaust flap to get a bit more sound as well.

It's already been open via bimmerlink and then unplugged...

Also, just curious, what are people doing with plug now that its unplugged and just dangling? how do you prevent water, etc from getting in?

I have a 19 50i as well and been thinking about opening flaps. Did you notice much of a difference? I love the way the exhaust sounds on cold start. Any chance you’d be willing to record the sound difference? TIA!

I can try tomorrow.
Is yours already straight piped?

If stock, opening the flaps is a nice add, but not that noticeable, at least not to me.
Now that it is straight piped as of today, I will check and see tomorrow if i truly like it or not. If not and too loud, i will close the flaps and see if I like it then.

I would wrap it using electrical tape then zip tie it so it doesn't dangle.
