HUD and road condition warnings / eco “diamond”

What is the best way to disable the HUD road condition warnings like “uneven road” and “dangerous turn”? I don’t need to get spammed about the fact that I’m driving somewhere with speed bumps, or on a road in the mountains.

And what about removing the weird blue diamond that pops up in the HUD in hybrid eco pro?

go to APPS > Installed apps then select the Uneven Road app > disable it by unchecking the box

truth be told, I’ve never seen “dangerous turn”

Nuked that as the wife drives in Eco Pro and the blue diamond capitalizes the HUD so even the NAV won't display in it. If memory serves it was in iD8 under displays, then HUD and unchecking the box on driving mode (or something along those lines).

In 3.5 years of the same service in iD7 on the M850i I've never seen the dangerous turn either even on dangerous turns in the mountains (just got back from a trip full of them to Flagstaff from Phoenix). I can see not wanting the warning in a X5 but their golden in the low riding M850i that is easy to bottom out on speed bumps, draining culverts, etc.

I’m not sure how exactly the road hazard warnings work, but it has recently saved me from hitting some debris on the interstate. I saw the warning popup “objects on the road”, then saw cars in front of me swerving to avoid something and there actually was a big fat stray bumper on the road.

The diamond can be removed by going into the Display app. Then HUD and unchecking the box that says show content related to driving modes (or something like that). Then the diamond will no longer show up in say Hybrid-eco.

Not a fan of the diamond either.
