HUD Moving

Has anyone had an issue with the heads up display changing position? I keep mine on the highest setting and every once in a while it resets to the middle setting. Haven’t been able to figure out what causes it. I always use the same key and same profile.

do you have another bimmer with HUD and signed in/synced with your driver profile in there? I was told HUD height is shared so if it’s changed in one car it’ll change in the other, though I haven’t had HUD height issues between my X5 and 5 series

if not, ensure your driver profile is synced to your vehicle

I thought I was crazy! I've noticed this happening to me as well. I'm the only driver of my car. Must be a software thing.

if you’re the only driver and it’s your only bimmer, then I would ensure your driver profile is synced with your fob. if not, you risk not saving your driver settings in your profile

Same issue here. All my other settings are fine but the HUD resets every few days.

I wanted to put this to the test. I raised my HUD in my 2024 X7 all the way up to the same setting as the X5M. I will report back. Others that are having the same issue, do you have more than one Bimmer?

Day 6 after making the change and the HUD hasn’t moved. It looks like this is what was causing the issue
