Funnily enough I finally saw this color in person in Manhattan of all places a couple weeks ago. It actually does look pretty decent.

Didn't even give MGM a thought based on configurator which makes it look like baby food, ordered mine in Carbon Black (which is gorgeous still). But then saw a green one on the street and it turned my head alllll the way as it drove past. Just gorgeous in person, so I changed my order.

It feels a little more playful and unique--less of "yet another black BMW taking itself too seriously" vibes. Though to be clear I'd be very happy with that beautiful black.

And no it's not an old color. The only thing that ever felt like an old color to me were all those champagne Lexus and Camrys and such from the 90s. Besides, you're not getting a car because of what other people will think right? Right??

Seeing this color in person is an entirely DIFFERENT experience vs. how it looks (ugly) on the BMW configurator.

Once I saw one of these in person, I knew it would be the perfect color for me.

Every day looking at this X5 M50i in Manhattan Green Metallic is pure joy!

So thankful I changed my order from black to this.

The metallic bronze color tones of this paint really pop in sunlight!

I’m 30 and I’ve got a Manhattan Green xLine on the way. I wanted something that’s not flashy, but also not something you see every day.

It even looks good when it's filthy dirty with New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado dust.

Here's a couple: First is fresh from the dealer driven home in the rain. The second is a few days later after Kenzo ceramic coating applied by authorized detailer.

Fabulous color. Age is irrelevant. Looks a hundred times better in person.

Reviving this thread to say hello…

Just picked up a new MY23 G05 M50i in Manhattan Green Metallic over black sensafin, 50th anniversary badges, parking assistance package, climate comfort package, trailer hitch, heads-up display.

Got an insane deal - significantly below base MSRP ahead of the LCIs coming in this spring - customer order that backed out (thank you if you’re on here). Deals are out there guys and gals if you’re patient and negotiate!

Coming from a G20 M340i xDrive and other BMWs (E36/7 Z3, E90) and VW/Audi.

Not a fan of all the gloss black on new BMW LCIs - G20, G05, G01, etc. - I think that trend has run its course last in the last decade.

Looking forward to burning off these Bridgestone RFTs in the next couple months and switching to a set of Alpina 21” D20s that I got as take offs from an XB7!

Will probably switch to the cerium grey grills too.

Happy to be here - cheers

Congrats! We'd love to see the pics of the Alpina's once they're on!

I am so glad I checked these pics out before ordering my 2024. Like others, I totally dismissed MG online, but in real life, it is stunning. I was disappointed at the overall color selection for the new X5, so this may be the winner.

Right with you. Had my order already in, was ready to go individual and pay the 5K and wait longer. But, just switched to MG today!

MG is so beautiful in person. On the configurator is ugly.
However, if you’re 30 years old the MG is beautiful only with the Msport. With xline is not so decent, more “classic” car for older people
