X6 40i order placed

Hello all. I started talking to my client advisor around the beginning of the year, and we finally got an allocation and the order submitted last week. C.A. told me it's expected to go in to production mid march. Got a Production Number but it isn't showing up yet on the order tracking system.

It's a very loaded car, I'm really excited about it. I chose the color options as a throwback to my 2005 E46 M3 I custom ordered which was in the same colors.

My X6 is week 10, Perhaps they build X6's in a particular week, turtle boy You likely know the facts on that

Which dealership you order from? O order my x6 m50i on 10/31/2021, and dealership said they have no allocation. Its 3 1/2 already! I dont know how long i meed to wait?

Which dealership you order from? O order my x6 m50i on 10/31/2021, and dealership said they have no allocation. Its 3 1/2 already! I dont know how long i meed to wait?

Barrington Motorwerks, far Northwest of Chicago

I asked The Manager 6 weeks ago about switching to the 8 cylinder & he told me it would take another couple of months in top of what I'm already waiting. Might not be accurate- but 8's are hard to find as you may know. Suggest you dump that dealership- hunt for one w an Allocation

Sadly no its MSRP for sure.

My car went to 150 status today. A month earlier than my client advisor expected. I am happy

Ordered from Steve Thomas in Camarillo but it was very hard to get an allocation! and the M50i allocations are harder to get than 40i

I do believe they build the same car with the same engine in specific weeks if thats what you mean. So yours could be going in to production soon too hopefully!

My CA just texted me to say my X6 is done and waiting for transport. But online it says this which is funny. Guess there is a nice delay in the updates of that website!

My production date is 3/6. Located in Chicago, I have a feeling that I might get mine earlier than you..

I'm actually hoping mine doesn't arrive until about 4/1! I'm having my entire driveway redone which is going to take 2 weeks and I don't want to park her on the street when I first get her!!

Something interesting is that the build tracker on that website is very behind, my client advisor texted me on Saturday morning to tell me my car was getting off a train in Kansas City and waiting for a train to San Bernardino, but at that time the tracker still said it was waiting for carrier assignment!

2/9 I got a production number and today 3/18 the car arrived to the dealer.
I can't believe how fast it all happened considering everything going on!

Was DHP not an option when you ordered? I couldn't imagine my X640i without it. Keeps the car so planted in the corners.

Dynamic Handling Package is not an option for an X6 40i, right now anyway. It is an option for an X6 M50i, right now.

What year is your car?

I'm not too bummed I don't have it, I have an M4 to go fast, this is my comfy commuter
