Wonderful interior as usual. Still can't get over the taillights though.

The engine in the model in the pics is the 2.0TFSi. It's been upgraded from 200bhp to 211bhp. I also gave other details for the rest of the lineup.

It's amazing how a change in colour can change one's opinion on something. Now in silver I think this is beautiful, the front which I had a problem with the grille looks miles better and the rest of the angles look equally as well.

On looks alone this thing will be a big success for Audi. Now all we need is a RS version.

I saw this from one of the Audi forums.

Quote:
The new Q5 measures 4.63m in length (wheelbase is 2.81m), 1.88m across and sits 1.65m tall. It also has a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.33. To save weight engineers used aluminum for much of the vehicle’s construction including the wraparound tailgate and hood.

All models feature quattro AWD and Audi’s new 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission with gearshift switches on the steering wheel.

Inside, there’s space for five and the rear seats are angle-adjustable and can be folded away to expand storage space from 540 to 1,560L. Optional extras include a rail mounting kit for luggage, a net partition and a luggage compartment liner. Premium trim includes aluminum, exclusive woods, chrome, leather and Alcantara.

Additional features of the Audi Q5 include keyless access to the vehicle, a tire pressure monitoring system, a large panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control, sun blinds for the rear side windows, adaptive cornering lights and an electric tailgate.
Light weight and the inclusion of DSG as standard will make this thing the SUV to beat, in comparison the X3 is old hat.

I usually just hate on any suv in this segment. Especially the X3 which is just fugly.

But the Q5 looks very good.

Those pics above of the exterior and interior look great.

Definitely the best entry into this segment, by far.

Yeah so when's the X3 getting redone, 2011?

I like it overall...any exterior pics of the S-Line? Looks like there is a little badge on the grill on most of the exterior shots - can read that it says S-Line though.

The little badge you are talking about says 'Quattro'.

I'll get you S-line pics soon. They must be availible somewhere soon if the S-line interior has been shown already.
