Brake discs and yellow compound on new car

Is it normal for build up of this yellow rust looking compound on brake discs on a week old car?
I mean, I've had many cars in past new and old and they don't normally get like this so regularly.
When I drive off and use brakes, they come out clean but it's annoying to see them like this when the rest of the car looks spotless.

The age of the vehicle does not matter, rust will form on the rotors if the conditions are right. Many times I have seen rust on rotors just from sitting overnight regardless of what make/model it was.

Where are you located? What sort of climate have you been having?

I get the same thing just letting the car sit overnight too. It isn’t pretty but a quick drive and it’s gone. Most people won’t even notice but I do ha ha. Oh and the color of my rotors are a nice brown/bronze rusty tone. I just checked and that’s the colors that come to mind.

Normal. Some pads emit more brake dust then others but surface rust is normal on rotors. If you wash your own car you’ll notice a layer of surface rust on the rotors when you’re done drying. Nothing unusual.
