I did the math, and for myself, its a wash between $4000 military discount and paying 4.99% for 5 years through NavyFCU, vs the interest saved with a 2.99% rate over the same 5 year term. |
Yes, unfortunately that rate isn't lockable and so it won't be around by the time I ordered and received a 25. What I'm hoping for is by some chance they have a spring sales event with a great interest rate and an incentive to push it past the military. Not holding my breath on that one though.
