BMW announced the launch of a new ConnectedDrive Service as of 1/29/20, BMW Connected Music with Spotify, which offers a premium, enhanced experience for BMW customers to enjoy streaming music.

BMW customers with a Premium Spotify account and a compatible vehicle can now stream Spotify music directly in their BMW without having to use a Smartphone app.

Reading reviews on Spotify it looks like the consensus is that Spotify has major issues. On the Better Business Bureau website I found 1 positive review out of 41! The other 40 reviews all had 1 star.

WOW...I was considering checking them out to use with my X7. Not after seeing all the bad reviews. Especially billing and support problems. I'll stick with iHeart radio and my own downloaded music.
