Engine Oil Capacity

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I had the 1 year service performed on my car yesterday. I was curious and asked the service advisor how much oil the car took. He looked at the invoice and said 7 quarts. I do see the number 69 before the 0W-30 oil part #, but it doesn't say the amount anywhere. I looked at the invoice from the 1,200 mile service and while the oil part # is the same, it says 65.
Of course both times, it shows an oil filter change. The iDrive engine oil level check showed filled up each time.
I believe the F90 M5 has a 10.5 quart oil capacity. I doubt our cars have less. Looks like the 6 cylinder X5's take about 7 quarts and that would seem logical.
Anyone know for sure?

My apologies, seems that info should be in the owner's manual.

No apology needed. One would think it would be in the owners manual, but I suppose BMW was saving on the ink.
