The bad alternative, it seems, if there is an action (if the translation was accurate) is:

“Es gibt eine offene technische Verbesserung an diesem Fahrzeug. If your vehicle is included then you will be contacted by BMW. As calbears said there is no bulletin out yet.

Thank you to the people who PM'd me their VINs. Unfortunately both of the tools that I tried came up with no open recalls or technical enhancements for the VINs. I'm going to keep looking around but hopefully someone will be able to post the stop sale details soon.

My 50e was right in the middle there. June 7. And I appear to be affected.

I’m assuming this is one of those issues where you should be able to drive until the part is available like back with the Takata recalls?

I'm assuming that is the case if the car is already delivered. We can't sell it though

My 50e was June 2nd I think. I received nothing and on the German site appear to be all clear. MyBMW app also has a recall section and nothing there (recognize this is not a “recall”).

Not freaked out at all. Just staying up to date on what’s evolving since it’s interesting as someone focused enough to spend time on these forums. It’s also fun being ahead of the BMW SA on the knowledge front.
