BMW Factory Sunglass Holder Solution

Figure i share this information here as well. I've been using these in my last 3 BMW. I like things tidy and this works for storing my sunglasses and my wifes without the need to dig into the glove box or center console. These replace the "oh shit" handles and fits the F95 and my F80.

Thanks for sharing. My husband likes to joke about my useless BMW not having one of these but he's always had it in the HiLux. Do you have a pic installed?

There are no handles in the M cars.

What do you mean? I’m pretty sure there are 4 handles on every window. At the very least, I know there’s one on the driver side..

I don't have any handles in my F96 X6M, and I did not have them in my F86 X6M, and if my memory serves me right my daughters M2 doesn't have them either.

Maybe X5s have them and X6s don't?

Just checked on the BMW configurator site and indeed M2 and X6M models do not have these handles, but X5M model does. I always thought M cars do not have interior handles since three of my M cars didn't have them.

My old F86 X6M had a sunglasses compartment in the headliner, but unfortunately it's gone in the F96 model. I've been using a visor attached holder posted in the link below - it's not ideal, but better than nothing.

So weird! I was going to suggest that maybe “Coupes” don’t have them, but my 1M had handles. Than again, it wouldn’t be the first time that BMW wasn’t consistent about something in their line up..

That's a pretty good idea. I ended up buying Revo Descend Fold sunglasses and just throw them in the cupholder/storage area. This definitely something to consider.
