Exhaust Tips M50i

Just ordered now aswell has anyone got these on the X6 M50i with a picture

If not will post before and after when they arrive monday

All fitted great result I think you can actually see the exhaust now great cheap Mod well worth it

are those the silver tips or the black ones?
how long of an install?

I'm still waiting for mine, ordered them after they went out of stuck from PRIME so now have to wait till April 1st to get them and ordered last weekend =X

They are the black tips, and they do looks so so much better than the standard sunk in exhaust.

I ordered on amazon.com on Wednesday and delivered to the UK friday, fitting is simply push on and they lock on tight no movement took 30 seconds

Installed these yesterday and lost one while going to a supermarket. Only noticed this morning.
Also, noticed that one exhaust side hangs lower that the other.
Also wish these were a little longer. Because when I put them on all the way, they seem a bit too deep. Not sure if its because the M50i is a little different then x50i

This thread is specifically for M50i. Seems like they are very secure with no risk of falling off with the M50i—can’t be said for other models.

I have a question about the positioning of your tips. Do you have the pronounced end of the tips at the 12pm position or the 1:30pm position (10:30pm for the right side)?

I think his are at 12pm.... though ther was someone who did it at 1.30m on the right and 10.30pm on the left or whatever the equivalent is lol

I got my replacment tips today because i lost 1, so will be trying it in the next few days.

But have to buy new hangers in order to center my left side because it hangs a bit lower than the right for some reason, probably a stretched hanger

I think JimVR4 has them going with the body style, at those other positions as opposed to at 12pm

The prolonged section is tilted towards the cennter, not stright up (12:00).. For some reason, the picture comes out like that though...

Thanks for the clarification. It seems like most people have the prolonged section facing the 10:30pm and 1:30pm sections!

Mine are at 3 on the driver side and 9 on the passenger side. They flow with the body with these orientations.
