I'm thinking of placing an order for a 2024 X5MC. What sort of discounts are people seeing?

When I bought my 2020 (purchased in early 2021) I got 9%. I can get 6.5-7% right now on a new pre-LCI. But I've got my eyes on the LCIs. The dealer told me the best I can hope for is 1-2%.

On one hand, I feel silly buying the same F95 I had before, on the other hand the price increase to go to a 2024 is pretty steep.

If you still can get a brand new pre lci, I would go for it. For me personally 2024 does not look as good as pre lci, plus I wouldn't want a mild hybrid personally.

I absolutely loved my 2020, but I'm also a tech junkie and have my eye on the new iDrive. Mainly because I want Apple Maps on my cluster (new feature in CarPlay). I suspect the Pre-LCI won't get it..

For me the updated tech is nice but the price delta between my pristine 2020 and 2024 was just too big considering its the same car with very minor changes plus losing some features. Big discounts needs to come back to bridge this gap imo...

That’s exactly what has me on the fence.. it’s a huge price difference. If my 2020 wasn’t totalled, I wouldn’t be looking.

The main reasons I’m considering it: idrive8, remote parking and the mild hybrid are all interesting tech. Maybe I’ll start a different thread to see how well these features actually work in the real world…
