This is a Delivery Stop bulletin for vehicles produced between 7/21/2021 and and April 11, 2024. That usually means every build after the end date is not affected, i.e. the issue has been resolved in production.

Since week 18 is April 29 - May 5, this should not affect you. Note that I'm getting this info from forum searches on past 'delivery stop' bulletins; hopefully someone else will confirm this.

I should note that I was originally a week 17 build, but that just slipped to week 18 with a build date of 4/30. So only a slight date slip.

Colorado is about three days. Yours will go by carrier and will take about the same time.

Is there a way to track detailed delivery status other than MyGarage progress bar? My CA gave a conservative estimate of ~3 weeks after prodDate but from what I saw on this forum it can be much sooner (SF area).

SF is usually about 3/4 weeks but can be a little sooner. Since yours is going by train you can track the train. Folks used to do that by getting the Bill of Lading and using BNSF's tracking. Within the last year or so though, Genius has been giving updates the train as far as the last stop and the next stop.

Yesterday my 40i went from production begin to awaiting carrier.

I'm also picking it up in SF so hopefully I can get it in the end of May which is 5 weeks ahead, ideally the week of memorial day.

No, it is done by phone. You enter the BOL and it gives the location information. There are a number of threads with details if you want to try it versus Genius.

l had a prod date of 4/20 and looks like they started to build the x6 today...as of 6:13 pm its on the "entering assembly line" status and now the prod date shows up as 4/22.

lol do they sometimes only go through building half the car and resume after the weekend?

It takes less than a day, about 4 hours, to complete a build but the assembly line is not emptied every day so it stops when they shift ends for the week. Also keep in mind that the tracking is not real time and is behind what is actually happening.

As far as the prod date goes, that is updated at every step between Production Begins and Ready for Dispatch when the actual production date is determined. In your case I would think that they are currently saying everything will be finished and ready for dispatch, or at least the assembly process, on Monday but of course that can change depending on how QC goes.

Good to know SF indeed takes 3-4 weeks, to set the right expectation LOL. I thought it could be sooner since Colorado only takes a few days but maybe train is just much slower. Thanks for the info!

My 40i Moved into stage 150 on 4/12 with a 4/27 prod date. On 4/19 it moved up to 4/26. I keep checking multiple times per day....i can't wait. Anybody with shipping lead times to Maryland? I assume that it should be within a day based on drive time.

Anyone heard of a new X5 or 6 with 8.5 Get delivered by the dealer & have the NAV NOT WORK .

It does not work at all, does not come up manually or with audio, The dealerships are pretty long trip and I’m trying to see if it’s something I can do with instructions
- I called the national genius and went through a couple things and it didn’t work, he said to reset the factory settings, which I don’t wanna do until I talk to somebody who actually knows if that will help her it does not work at all,

You are the second one today with this issue. My guess is that iDrive and/or the maps need to be reinstalled.
