Bimmercode to close trunk lid with key fob?

Anyone know if Bimmercode can code to use keyfob to close trunk lid? If so which section or ECU can it be found?

Ok answering my own question...don't think it's available. I forgot to check
https://www.bimmercode.app/cars/g05/

Shows nothing about closing trunk lid with key fob...too bad that's a great feature and somewhat annoying sometimes not having.

E-Sys is the best.

Bimmercode is supposed to be easy, but there is a thread that is 250pages long discussing about how to use it in the F15/F16 forum.

And almost multiple threads about it in every forum on how to use it.

Well, that's because Bimmercode is WAY more accessible to most people, so attention on its capabilities is high. But rapidly changing software on new models like G05 is going to be a challenge for the poor developer to keep up. Heck, BMW has a development budget of $billions more than Stephan, and they can't keep up either

Not sure if it is about development.

I'd say is about having access to a car and E-Sys himself.

I have no problem coding with E-Sys even on the car that just came out from the factory.

Recently just coded M8 that was 1 day old from the dealership. Everything was done without an issue.

As long as I have the latest PSdZdata, I am good.

I noticed that Bimmercode start falling behind when no one shares their cheatsheet anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I am now into E-Sys coding myself due to my own impatience with Bimmercode and I know you yourself help lots of people with your services. While E-Sys isn't super hard to use, it does take a bit of practice and context/experience, but the real "accessibility" issue is its setup and "launchers".

I guess I am just naturally sympathetic to the plight of a small/lone developer trying to provide something valuable in the context of massive complexity. Access to vehicles is definitely an issue, but I am sure he has multiple raw coding setups. If you multiply out all models * options * software versions * country variances * MY variances ... the number of permutations he has to handle is staggering. You're probably right, Stephan is unlikely to have any time to do his own coding research when he has to try to keep up to ensure literally thousands of potential configuration permutations are reliable.

I am comfortable around computers and tech...I am comfortable using bimmercode. Wish there was more I can do, like closing trunk with key fob.
Is there a good place to start learning how to use E-sys and or PSdZdata
I have no idea on tokenmaster use or where to begin using or downloading. google offered no help.

It seems like Bimmercode popularity buried all the E-Sys inquiry and How-To's.

There are a few people made YouTube video om how to use it and PDF file on how to use it.

I started learning on using E-Sys when there was still a long discussion thread in 2012 when I have my F10.

Since then, all the steps and basics are still the same. Just different name and values.

I can close the trunk with my key FOB. I coded it few months ago before the feature, and many others disappeared on Bimmercode.
Now that most of the Bimmercode feature's are back, the trunk features on not. ( I checked yesterday)

I was using Veagate

Looks like Bimmercode beta 3.5 supports the tailgate module! We should get that update in the next couple weeks if all goes well.

Would you mind sending me the same info? Purchased esysx (after giving up on hearing back from tokenmaster) and have no idea how to get started. Thx
