Car location in Connected hasn't been updated for more than a week

I have noticed that my car's location hasn't been updated since 10/20 in Connected App, I have uninstall/install App, log out/in from app, and log out/in from iDrive. It is still not working, does anyone experience same issue?

Also, seems like all the remote features are not working me either such as remote start, remote unlock

I just wanted to know in order to use Connected drive if it has to be done wired (USB) to my iPhone like in my former F15?

I had this same issue on my MY20 G30 (also iDrive7). I had it at the dealer with no luck. The resolution for me was (recommendation from another forum) to long press the volume knob for around 20 sec with the ignition on, works fine ever after... Could be worthwhile to give it a try if you still experience this issue.
