Hi guys,

I am currently in a 19 M40i X3. My dealer is offering an X6 40i Mineral White with Black 22's - my dealer is trying to pick it up at a demo auction. It is a good deal and the best I'll do on a X5/X6 that is within what I want to spend...

I have not been able to find a real life photo of 40i with M Sport with these wheels equipped. Anybody have some?

I am pretty conflicted - on one hand I really like my X3 M40i and the roar and performance of that drivetrain. The 40i X6 is slower, has no crackles or pops from the exhaust, etc. but does have nicer tech, better looks, better interior, etc. Overall a more premium vibe.

Also, what are your thoughts on MSport Suspension with 22" wheels? How rough is that going to be? I drove a 40i with Air suspension yesterday and it rode like butter, which I enjoyed.

Very helpful - those do look good. What are the major aesthetic differences between 40i M Sport and the M50i?

Only thing I really seem to notice is the Cerium badging... Aerodynamics seem to be the same?

I do know from the X3 world that the x3 4 cyl M-Sport and the M40i - the only differences are Cerium badges, grills and exhausts are different.

In the X6, even the exhausts seem very similar. Same diffuser, etc.

Visually, M50i, not optioned with extended shadowline trim, comes standard with M Sport aerodynamics and adds or switches out the following exterior trim pieces:

- Cerium grill, side vents, side mirror caps, exhaust finishers, rear model badging and adds front bumper vent trim.

TL;DR same visual approach as X3 M Sport and X3 M40i - aero are identical just cosmetic trim
