Correct. I ordered an x40i msport with executive package and chose to add 4HB while 4NB was added automatically like everyone else I guess because of the executive package. Interesting that heated rear seats was $350 last year but based on the cost of 4NB and 4HB, the balance of the ZRC is $450 so the rear heated seats effectively went up $100. Unless of course you’re Gordon and get it free.

Not yet. I think I'm week 33, but one genius on Monday told me it was now week 31 and due to start sometime this week.
After emailing my SA last night, I called the Genius line this morning to ask about the dropped heated rear seats, and today's rep seemed less knowledgeable and told me I was week 31. Is the website still showing the heated rear seats N/C on your order? |

The fact that it is now removed from MyGarage makes me believe it was a glitch to begin with. |

Update: MyGarage is now showing the full Climate Comfort Package added to my build, replacing 4NB and 4HB. My SA asked this morning if I wanted to add the full ZRC, but the new package showed up on there before I could even respond to him.
Just glad I don't have to deal with the uncertainty of the heated rear seats now as production could start any day for me. |

So did your SA add the full package for you or it was done automatically? |

The climate package seems to have been added by BMW, around midday the day after the NC rear seats disappeared. |

Anyone check to see if the options that were deleted will come back soon?
- Remote Engine Start - Acoustic Glass - Upgraded sound (harmon or bowers) I really wanted these on my 45e build! If no acoustic glass, anyone know an aftermarket alternative? |

As far as acoustic glass goes, you can have a dealer order the glass and install it. We have had a few members do that. I think their general consensus was that it was not worth the money.

Oh so fast!
Placed my 2022 xdrive40i order on 7/13 and was anticipating a late fall delivery. My order was completed today and it has been assigned to a carrier. Please note it was close to a basic order with only 4 options. Since this is early in the 2022 production cycle perhaps it was selected because of the low option count.

I don't think remote start is missing from the 45e. Someone correct me if wrong. 45e never had remote start. It instead has remote preconditioning.

Well although it was ordered on 7/13 I obviously saw no reason to check the status. On 7/20 just for fun I checked for the first time and was shocked to see it scheduled for production. I called Genius and was advised it would be completed or 8/3. It actually was built on 7/30 and 7/31. The X5 went to a carrier at noon on 7/31. Years ago I was employed at both Chrysler and Ford, I told my daughter I could not never get a vehicle scheduled and built this fast. Perhaps just luck this time.

45e starts in battery mode, so there is no remote engine start. You can precondition the car as climate system is driven by the battery. Acoustic glass was never an option on 45e. As it is, the 45e cabin is very quiet. There is noise from RFTs, but not sure if acoustic glass can reduce that significantly.

Does anyone have an updated build sheet as of Aug 4th? Looking to order 45e and my dealer is so in the dark about options. I am seeing Harmon, Acoustic Glass and Wireless charging are 100% not available. Wondering if I was to place a pre-order for an allocation if I would be screwed on options/incentives down the line at delivery. What is everyone's experience telling them?
