Can this be plugged?
I have a 2020 X5 m50i and just got this beauty in the front tire. My new i5 M60 will be arriving around the end of this month and I’d really rather not buy a new tire!
Thanks in advance! |

many manufacturers say no plugging or patching on run flats but I have plugged holes like that in the past on run flats without any problems. It's a PITA to punch the plug through all the steel belting that runflats have. Last time I did it, used a drill to widen the screw hole. Sometimes the plugs can dry out over time, causing a slow leak and resulting in the need to replug.

yes, it can. I had professionally done in my Jeep SRT run flat tire.
