Good thinking, that would be the way to do it if the same parameters exist. I thought someone posted that their's slowed down and it wasn't in Adaptive mode. In other words, BMW kept the slowing down feature even when the Adaptive button was removed. I guess someone without a button can chime in.

Do we know if it's possible to add the comfort plus suspension in Sport Individual settings? Thanks!

Does anyone know if Bimmercode has an old fashioned "clear error codes" option, what with the fact it causes so many random errors when coding?

I'll D/L and check out Bimmerlink, thanks.
I was remembering older, simpler plug-in modules for seeing and clearing codes, but not much else.

After re-pairing the OBDLink & Tablet, and apparently resetting some of the previous coding I did, I was finally able to get both front seats to stop both sets of chimes. I kept getting a Coding Error at various %'s.
Another question, the default driving mode works, but does anyone know why Sport Plus isn't one of the many options?

If I have a working ESys setup, is there a place/pdf where I can find all available researched codes and what they do so I can just code them manually?
Thanks! |

Anyone know if it’s possible to code current gear selected to be displayed next to the D on the dash, like it displays when the gearbox is in either Sport or Manual mode? Thanks

Having to recode is normal and expected. ASS can no longer be coded off as of 03/2023.67. Bimmercode and others have been trying but so far no success.

Revisiting my earlier gripe about Sport+ not being in the list of default driving modes.
There is a second option called Driving Mode Memory where it's supposed to remember the last used driving mode when you get back in and start 'er up. It also seems to hate Sport+ since it always goes back into Sport.

Coding my 2021 xDrive45e?
Hello all....
So sorry, I'm new to this forum, as I just recently purchased a CPO 2021 X5 xDrive45e. I previously had a 2014 X5 sDrive3.0, which was coded by a programmer in NJ (I'm in CA) If I'd like some coding done on my 2021, should I try to do it myself, or would it be better to have someone experienced at it do so? And does coding void the CPO warranty? Thanks! |

Welcome. It depends on what coding you want to do. If it can all be done in Bimmercode then it would be easy to buy and adapter and the app to do it yourself. Make a list of what you want and check out Bimmercode's site ot see if it can be done.
If you want to do more complicated coding then it may just be easier to contact a coder such as r33_RGSport to have it done. Coding won't void your warranty but a dealer can deny coverage for an issue if he can show the coding caused it. That likely won't happen.

is there a code setting that allows you to turn off the headlights while driving? When I hit the off button while driving it says "no lights off while driving." So ridiculous.

You meant the DRL? If so, there is an option in iDrive that lets you turn of DRL.
