I had a 2018 X5M and traded it in for a 2021 X5M. RaceChips didnt charge me anything and gave me info to upload the 2021 tune from the cloud for free. Best part of this tune is that the install is 15 minutes and has never caused a CEL, limp or any other issue. I don't have any other mods just the RaceChips. Dropped a few tenths off the 0-60 from stock. This SUV feels savage. I get back into my 2022 xDrive40i mSport and it feels completely anaemic in comparison. I think I need to tune my 2022 also.

3.24 seconds 0-60 for a vehicle of this weight is almost unimagineable and would have been just a number of years ago. A few tenths when you are already well under 4 seconds is huge.
Cool stuff for sure, enjoy the ride.
Amazing that a vehicle this big, comfortable, and with all its practical carrying capacity can be this crazy fast. Wow.

I think the current 25% off sale for the M50i RC is enough to get me over the edge and purchase one.
My old Galaxy S6 won't work with the bluetooth app they offer. Guessing that the maps can be changed manually on the face of the product. Hoping I can find one map that works well and leave it set there.

The boost increase in the RC is really mild. I'm sure you can leave it on the Race setting and be fine.

I went from a 2018 X5M to a 2021 X5M but in retrospect sounds like I should have got the M50i like you. The X5M has too many compromises to be a practical DD. It doesn't have the air suspension which means the ride is jarring but with extremely precise steering on the track. But I rarely get to appreciate those attributes.

So many tough calls as there are a number of enticing alternatives in the current and what is predicted to be the BMW world. Torn between keeping my M50i to the end of the warranty period(2 more years) vs the upcoming M60i next year, M550i soon, or what ever else grabs my gear head attention. These are literally the best of times for car guys.
Could you imagine dropping of the wife and kiddies at the mall and then running a few 11 second 1/4 miles at the local drag strip in a 2 1/2 ton SUV 10 or 20 years ago. F'n nuts and that is a very good thing that the geeks who circle jerk about how many MPG or miles/KW they get in their Prius or what ever need to get a taste of.
All in jest, there are just many of us who live for ball busting power in what we transport ourselves in.
I'm first in line for a 1,000 HP EV muscle car, lets go.

If anyone wants to buy my RaceChip let me know. Picked up a 50i as the X5M ride was really harsh. The RC that I have will work on both the F85 and F95 X5M's but will not work on the 50i of any generation.

That bad, huh? I’m trying to convince my self to not do the opposite of you and trade my M50i for an X5M. Hope that ride isn’t too rough for me as well..

I guess it depends on your roads and situation. I like the 50i much better. Overall is very comfortable and still has punch but certainly can't match the excitement factor of the M when pushing it, especially in corners. The F95 drives like it's on rails. Of course the downside of that is the poor ride quality. Good luck and please get sufficient seat time in the F95 before buying.

Why selling it? You can get it reprogrammed. Free for the first 24 months of ownership if you purchase new, or $149 to reprogram.

The condition of your roads is a huge factor when considering the X5M or X3M. My former '21 M50i and current '24 M60i are perfect and I do have a reasonable amount of seat time in a '21 X5M for comparisson.
The X5M handles fantastic and would be great if you have smooth windy roads, not like the ones we have in south FL where they are straight as arrows but pool table smooth.
The current M60i is fabulous and a dream for me, more power than my '21 M50i, great ride in comfort, and noticeably tighter in Sport settings.

Good question. So I bought the RC originally for my F85 and then had it reprogrammed for the F95. The RC worked flawlessly on both F85 and F95. Super impressed with the reliability. When I got the F15 50i, we removed it from the F95 and tried it on the F15 50i (just tried hooking it up before reprogramming from F95 to F15).

I figured it would at least install correctly as the F15 50i is also a 4,4tt motor but when I contacted RaceChips, they said it might not. Despite the same size engine, the N63 ans S63tu are very different including type and location of sensors. Anyway we hooked up the RC unit with the map setting at 0 (since it wasn't reprogrammed yet) and the F15 threw a CEL within a few minutes so appears it isn't compatible.

I never had an install error on the F85 or F95 or a CEL ever and it was installed correctly on the F15 but we could have made a mistake I suppose, but we double checked everything.

Common mistake that people made on these N63tu engine is plugging it to the secondary O2 sensor wires, instead if the MAP sensor.
12 Volts vs 5 Volts.
Many guys who made that mistake, toasted their RaceChip and got CEL.
