Thumbs up RG Sport - RaceChip GTS Black for G05/G06/G07 M60i

It has been a little late, but better late than never.
Finally been able to finalized the M60i map on RaceChip GTS Black and ran the dyno. It was a very good gain, even on California crappy 91AKI gas and heartbreaker Mustang AWD Dyno.

Baseline: 490 whp / 515 lb-ft torque
GTS Black @ Map 7: 539 whp / 586 lb-ft torque

In translation to crank hp, multiply those number by 1.2.

Enough chat, here are pictures and video.

Now is available on our website and ready for shipment.

Great results Ben!
Quite noteable to see that BMW has seriously underrated the S68 as they regularly do with their other engine ratings.
The 1.2 correction factor is very conservative(for Mustang dyno and parasitc loss) demonstrating an actual stock power output of around 590HP and likely more. This is obviously well in excess of the 523 # in the sales literature.
Excellent gains here with the Racechip from a well known respected German product.
Anyone who has experience modifying in the normally aspirated world will agree that this is dirt cheap HP and TQ.

Exactly, They could very well be making 600 from the factory on 93 octane in stock form which would put it squarely at the level of the now discontinued pre LCI S63 base X5M engine. Absolutely no question that this S68 is stronger than the M50i that I had.

I’m in for one for my x5 m60i. I’ve had RC GTS Black on my 40i and m50i. Always an improvement , never an issue. Ever.

It would be interesting to see what they are doing in some decent air outside of this area.

No dragy. No 1/4 drag strip closeby and it is not my car.
Climate can be changed in between runs.

That's why I prefer dyno.
It is controlled environment. Those fans blowing air from the front are at constant speed and temp.
